Holiday Workshops

Explore nature on 2 wheels

Hosted by A-Line Coaching and Coach Eugene Elliott

At our mountain bike Holiday Workshops, qualified cycling coaches Eugene Elliott and Amy from A-Line Coaching offer fun, guided mountain bike adventures for kids in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. Our workshops give young riders the chance to explore nature on 2 wheels, discovering local trails while building confidence and improving their riding skills. Riders are split into groups of similar ability to ensure everyone feels comfortable, challenged, and able to enjoy the experience. Each two-hour session includes guided trail riding, practical mountain bike skill tips along the way, and a relaxed snack break — creating the perfect balance of adventure, learning, and outdoor fun.

Who Can Join & What to Bring

Our Holiday MTB Workshops are open to riders aged 6–14 years old and welcome all ability levels, from complete beginners to experienced young riders. To make sure every rider has the best possible experience, participants are grouped according to their riding ability so that everyone can ride at a comfortable pace while still being challenged.

All bikes must be in safe working order with functioning brakes. Riders should also bring a water bottle or hydration pack, as well as a small trail snack for the mid-ride break.

We ride at a variety of trail locations across the Southern Suburbs, and some venues may require an additional entry or trail fee. Examples include locations such as Bike Park Uitsig and the Tokai MTB Trails. Any applicable access fees are not included in the workshop price and must be paid separately if required by the venue.

Whether your child is new to mountain biking or already confident on the trails, our workshops are designed to provide a fun, supportive environment where riders can explore, learn, and enjoy nature on two wheels.
